How the Abu Dhabi rate is set

The figures above are the the UAE national gold rate, which is what jewellers in Abu Dhabi price against. There is no separate Abu Dhabi rate for the metal itself - two shops in the same street will quote different totals for the same chain because their making charges differ, not because their gold costs a different amount.
